About the McLaren P1 GTR
The McLaren P1 GTR is a track-focused version of the P1, built without the limits of road regulations and designed purely for the circuit. It produces more power than the standard version, more aggressive aerodynamics, and sits on a wider, track-optimized chassis. It was originally only offered to a small group of P1 owners and delivers performance and driving dynamics comparable to a modern GT race car.
Lanzante Road Conversion
The road-legal conversion was carried out by Lanzante, the same firm behind the McLaren F1 GTR’s win at the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Each conversion includes suspension changes for road use, a revised ride height, added lighting and required road equipment, along with the required emissions and calibration work. The results keep the character of the McLaren P1 GTR while making it fully usable on public roads.
